When we started Kill Screen, we wanted to show the world why games matter. We think an integral part of this story lies at the intersection between videogames and the rest of the world. Games are a lens to view life in a new and fantastic way.

We believe games have a lot to teach culture and culture has a lot to teach games.
We've worked with game designers in the past, but we thought, what better way to nurture cross-pollination than to bring some of the brightest gaming minds and sharpest folks from outside games into the same room?

New York City is becoming one of the most exciting game scenes on the planet. We are already seeing the influence of the city's vibrant arts, design, music and tech communities brought to bear on some amazing videogame projects, and we're happy to call Brooklyn our home. Twofivesix will bring together some of the best and brightest who share this ethos to discuss the future of games.
Roulette Intermedium
Over the last three decades, Roulette has emphasized quality. The work they present is distinguished for its intelligence, for the virtuosity of the performers, and for the bravery of its investigation. And now they have provided an outstanding performance environment for their artists and audiences.

In an astonishingly short time, Roulette has become an epicenter for our Brooklyn neighborhood, and for the arts organizations of New York City. It occupies a unique position in New York City’s cultural landscape as one of the most creative and prolific centers for experimental art in the United States.
Roulette Intermedium is located at 509 Atlantic Avenue (at the intersection of Third Avenue), in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. It is a five minute walk from the Atlantic Terminal station, which is accessible by many major subway lines and just two stops from Manhattan. LIRR and bus service is also available. Along with southern Manhattan, downtown Brooklyn is home to many affordable boutique hotels.

Kill Screen is a videogame arts and culture company that wants to show the world why games matter.
Based in Brooklyn, Kill Screen publishes a website and a magazine, focused on connecting games to other cultural mediums. The New Yorker called Kill Screen "the McSweeney's of interactive media" and TIME said our writing was so "polished that they might help convince doubters that games are worth taking seriously."

As a production and strategy partner, Kill Screen helps brands and agencies to unlock the power of play. Our clients include GE, Intel, IBM, VICE, Sony Music, the MoMA, and eBay.
